Born July 26,1961 in Los Angeles California, was a jovial and loving person. Denise was the second daughter born to Erma Nelson.

Denise first attended Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church where she and cousin, Jackie Nelson were Baptized at an early age.

Along with her infectious laugh Denise's most precious gift to the world is her beautiful daughter, Taelore Regina Nelson.

Denise departed this life on July 13, 1992.

Denise leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted mother, Erma Nelson, one daughter, Taelore; three sisters, Davla, Regina and April Nelson, all of Los Angeles; two aunts Sallie Batiste and Oddessa Page; two uncles, Jim and McNeil Nelson; two nephews, Norman White and Amiri D'Agvilar; two nieces, Alia Paxton and Ashley Womack, and a host of other loving relatives, schoolmates and friends from California and Alabama.
